The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is an essential function within our warehouse that will maintain data and ensure our clients on-time delivery. Interacting and problem-solving with customers and brokers/forwarders regarding shipments in transit and verifying status is a critical function of the role.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry/Maintain Spreadsheets and be able to create formulas
• Help manage communications with our shipping carriers to book shipments
• Invoicing
• Investigate claims (Shortages etc.)

Shift available:

• 1st Shift: 8am - 5pm
• Mid Shift: 10am - 7pm
• 2nd Shift: 3pm - 12am
• 3rd Shift: 10pm - 6am

Requirements

• Must have 1-2 years prior clerical experience in warehousing/invoicing.
• Communicate with internal purchasing, sales, local warehouse as well as remote warehouse locations to keep track of new, pending, and in-progress shipments.
• Organization – keeping records up to date to make information retrieval quick and efficient.
• Multi-Tasking – with demands coming in from various sources, must be able to prioritize tasks.
• Computer Literate – must be proficient with Microsoft, specifically Excel and have accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned by your manager.
